Jas Johl's first published work Panacea is a collection of short experimental fictions and essays that includes psychoanalytic fairy tales, skewed mythologies, and cautionary tales masquerading as science fiction. Reviewers have called it "eerie and ambitious," and described the tone as "visceral but recoiled, like a dragon sleeping on a pile of gold."

The project was featured as a "Kickstarter Pick of the Week."
